ABOUT PAVAN ABRAHAM

Pavan Abraham is the Chairman of the North American chapter of The Associated Chambers of Commerce and Industry of India (ASSOCHAM) since August 2018. He is based in Texas, United States of America.

A serial entrepreneur and technology evangelist, Mr. Abraham brings 25 years of global experience in international trade promotion, export marketing, Information Technology (IT) advisory, digital entrepreneurship, business consulting and project management.

Pavan is the President of PeopleHive LLC, Texas since 2009 and has been instrumental in positioning the organisation as a ‘locus of innovation’ in the ERP solutions for Human Resource management.

A first generation entrepreneur, Mr Abraham is an expert in new market development, mergers and acquisition, government liaisons and global talent management. He has done extensive work in the public and private sectors in the USA, Canada, Europe, Australia, Brazil, Columbia and India across varied industries such as manufacturing, retail, oil and gas, pharmaceuticals, education, hospitality and tourism.

Mr Abraham started his career in 1992 in international marketing and soon launched his own venture, an international education consultancy. Settled in the United States since 1997, he played a crucial role in opening up the south american market for specialised power generation equipment, food and beverage and IT services.

Pavan Abraham was born in Rajasthan, India and completed his Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in Psychology from Jamia Millia Islamia University, New Delhi. He also pursued a Master’s programme in Computer Science from the University of Illinois.

A technology enthusiast, Pavan’s personal interests comprise traveling, cultural tourism and learning about world history.
